Case Study

From brief to ship

A sharper read on what mattered, what got built, and why it moved the product forward.

01Context

The product promise

Qvist Parfum represents a new way of building client projects — entirely AI-driven development with human oversight limited to code review. Every line of code was generated by Claude Opus 4.6, while I focused on architecture decisions, quality assurance, and ensuring the final product met the client's vision. The result is a polished, production-ready webshop delivered in under 20 hours, proving that AI-assisted development can produce professional, client-facing work at remarkable speed.

Qvist Parfum is a bespoke perfume and candle webshop built for a client selling "Midsummer" Eau de Parfum and handmade soy wax candles. The entire site was built using Claude Opus 4.6 with zero hands-on coding — only code reviews. It integrates Wix eCom and Checkout for a seamless purchasing experience, uses Umami for GDPR-compliant analytics, and runs on Next.js with Payload CMS backed by MongoDB. The project was completed in under 20 hours and launched on February 24, 2026. Qvist Parfum's "Midsummer" fragrance was nominated for "Årets Parfym" at Stockholm Beauty Week 2025.
