The product promise
Foodtruckkartan is a two-sided marketplace connecting food truck lovers with truck owners. The mobile app gives users a map-first discovery experience — browse trucks nearby, check today's menu and opening hours, filter by cuisine or dietary needs, and save favorites to get news and deal updates. For truck owners, an admin dashboard lets them manage their menu, post updates, and register events. The project is architected as a Turborepo monorepo with shared packages for UI, maps, types, and utilities, allowing the same codebase to power a sister app (Glasskartan) for ice cream shops.
A mobile platform for discovering food trucks across Sweden. Users explore an interactive map, browse menus with dietary filters, save favorites, discover nearby events, and follow news from their favorite trucks. Built as a monorepo with a Payload CMS backend, shared UI packages, and an Expo React Native frontend targeting iOS and Android.
